Ellie
Youth Mental Health
I’m passionate about supporting youth mental health, recognising that adolescence and early adulthood can be both exciting and deeply challenging—with constant change, uncertainty, and growth. Since 2018, I’ve worked in a variety of roles across this field and have valued the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to care teams through hands-on experience and close collaboration with the individuals we support. I enjoy assisting with study and learning goals, as well as creating opportunities for confidence-building and social connection through fun community outings such as visits to Piano Bar, horse riding, and musicals. I bring a strong sense of empathy and understanding to my work, particularly when supporting individuals living with disability—an area I care deeply about and have personal lived experience with. Currently, I’m completing a psychology degree at Deakin University and am excited to continue growing my career in a field where I can help people thrive, overcome challenges, and reach their potential. I’m a practical problem-solver who sees challenges—no matter how complex—as opportunities to learn, grow, and make a positive difference. This mindset is at the heart of how I support and connect with others.
